Trützschler Spinning Head of Marketing Hermann Selker says their expectations were met in the first half of the 2017. Selker; “Global it was on the same level compared to 2016. The Turkish market was weaker.” On his forecast for the end of year Selker said; “we expect a much more stable business for 2107 based on 2016 figures. After a more weak 2017, we think the investments in Turkey will come to a normal level back in 2018.”

Turkish textile industry is in a very strong competition with Asian spinners and is on the move from commodities to more valuable textiles according to Selker. “That’s the right way” Selker says and underlines the great advantage of Turkish textile industry: the proximity to the European market.
Hermann Selker informs that they have introduced T-BLEND system to the market in the first half of 2017 and the first installations were running successfully. Selker describes the new solution as; “T-BLEND is a fiber blending solution for precise blends. And blends are generally a global trend. Typical Truetzschler innovations are in the field of self-optimization of machines and self-learning systems.”
Developing and optimizing machines and technologies is a continues process said Selker while informing us about investment and R&D. Selker stated they put a special focus on monitoring systems assisting the quality- and technical management in the mills. Saying that Industry 4.0 is the future, Selker concluded imparting discussions about Industry 4.0 are their daily business.
