Textilegence May 2023 issue offers its readers the latest news from the textile and printing industry. With the approach of ITMA 2023, which will be held in Milan this year, brands and sector associations have started to pre-launch their latest technologies that they will exhibit at the exhibition. As Textilegence, we followed the meetings held by ACIMIT, the umbrella organisation of Italian machinery manufacturers, and Swissmem, the umbrella organisation of Swiss textile machinery manufacturers, before ITMA. At the meeting held by ACIMIT, the strong expectations of Italian machinery manufacturers, who left 2022 behind with successful figures, for 2023 and ITMA Milan came to the fore. At the meeting organised by Swissmem in Bern for the industry media on March 16, 17 and 18, manufacturers presented both their new solutions and their visions. You can also read the surprise developments of Uster Technologies, Mayer & Cie., Monforts, MS Printing and many more technology and machine manufacturers that will take place at ITMA in our new issue.

When we look at other developments on the agenda, some of the topics waiting for you in our 60th issue include the following: Continuing its successful growth in export markets, Durak Tekstil will exhibit its high performance, high quality, sustainable and technical yarns at Interzum 2023 fair. Kornit introduces innovations that connect end-to-end digital production. FESPA GPE returns with a great participation in 2023. Türkiye and the Netherlands meet in Bursa for circular textiles. European nonwoven production returns to pre-pandemic levels. Textile machinery manufacturer Trützschler, which has service locations in Gaziantep and Kahramanmaraş regions, took action in solidarity with its employees after the earthquakes in Türkiye. Also in our new issue, you can find the current situation of the Turkish textile and raw materials industry and the statements of industry professionals and associations on the subject.
