The new edition of Texhibition Istanbul Fabric, Yarn and Textile Accessories Exhibition, organized by ITKIB Fuarcılık A.Ş. on behalf of Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters’ Association (İTHİB), will open its doors on September 11-13. Expected to provide support for Turkish companies to gain competitive advantage in the global market, the exhibition will showcase products from different segments, from woven fabrics to knitted fabrics, yarn to denim, and artificial leather to textile accessories. Texhibition Istanbul, where panels and seminars will also be organized for participating companies and visitors, will feature presentations that determine the trends in the industry, as well as speakers from experts in their fields who reflect the industry agenda. The exhibition to be held at the Istanbul Fair Center is expected to be attended by over 500 companies, guests from over 100 countries, and over 25,000 professionals. The exhibition will also offer significant opportunities in terms of reaching new markets and agreements for the Turkish textile industry, which has recently been on the agenda with bankruptcies and layoffs and has experienced a significant loss of power.

“Texhibition serves as a critical bridge for Türkiye to achieve its textile export targets”

Making evaluations about the exhibition, ITHIB Board Chairman Ahmet Öksüz said: “Our exhibition serves as a critical bridge for Türkiye to reach its textile export targets. Texhibition not only strengthens the presence of companies in existing markets but also opens doors for them to discover new markets.” He stated that the organized B2B meetings and panels attended by leading names in the industry offered participants the opportunity to both establish new business connections and closely follow the latest developments in the industry and continued his words as follows: “Our Texhibition Istanbul exhibition plays a strategic role in reaching our country’s export targets as a platform to show Türkiye’s power and potential in the textile industry to the whole world. In addition, it increases the brand value of Turkish products. Our exhibition stands out as a driving force that contributes greatly to Turkish textile taking its rightful place in the global arena”.”

“We aim to further strengthen Türkiye’s power in the global market and its place in the industry”

Stating that Türkiye, which is the world’s fifth largest textile exporter, stands out from its competitors in the global market with its supply of quality knitted and woven fabrics, Fatih Bilici, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of ITHIB and Chairman of the Executive Board of Texhibition, said: “Turkish fabric manufacturers blend an environmentally friendly production culture with technology. Distinguished companies and all components of the Turkish textile sector come together at Texhibition Istanbul. Texhibition Istanbul, where more than 25 thousand qualified buyers are expected from over 100 countries, primarily the European Union countries, the UK, the US, North African countries and the Middle East, is ready to take visitors on a journey in the textile world.” Underlining that Türkiye is one of the world’s largest denim clothing players, Bilici said that they aim to further strengthen Türkiye’s power in the global market and its place in the sector by bringing together leading Turkish companies and buyers at the fair.

In the sixth season of Texhibition, innovations regarding fabric, denim, accessories and yarn will be presented in the trend areas. The exhibition, which has attracted the attention of visitors with its Weaving and Knitting Trend Areas, BlueBlack Texhibition Trend Area and Innovation Hub, will continue to inspire its visitors with different stories where sustainability, innovation and trends are exhibited in these areas.
