Teksel Tekstil, providing solutions to different segments of the Turkish textile industry with numerous brands in its portfolio, left behind a successful ITM 2022 participation. The company created exclusive sections for the brands it represents in its two booths in the knitting and finishing halls and achieved positive results for growth in the global market.
Teksel Tekstil A.Ş. Managing Director Dursun Ferikel said that they were happy to meet again at an ITM after a long time in his evaluation of the exhibition. Saying: “We think that we are finally rid of all the negative effects of the pandemic,” he continued: “ITM 2022, the biggest textile machinery exhibition of the industry after ITMA 2019, pleased us with the number of domestic and foreign visitors and its high profile. The interest shown in the 18 brands we represent at our two booths in both halls exceeded our expectations. In short, ITM 2022 was successful for us in terms of business and very enjoyable in terms of meetings.”
Teksel Tekstil shares its valuable experiences with its customers
Dursun Ferikel, underlining that they have a deep-rooted history of 35 years in the industry, stated that retain close ties with the industry so that the Turkish textile industry can stand out in global competition and become stronger with new investments. Ferikel said: “In addition to introducing new solutions at ITM 2022, we further strengthened these ties. A vision is needed for competition as much as technological innovation, and we are working with the industry to expand this vision.”
Ferikel argued that the pandemic period has unlocked new opportunities for the Turkish textile industry and summarized the developments in this process as follows: “There has been a change in demands with the pandemic. Most of the requests were for high technology, high-efficiency systems, low energy usage and raw material saving solutions. As Teksel Tekstil A.Ş., we have provided a global information flow by transferring the trends from all over the world to our customers. Thus, our industrialists continued to increase their investments compared to previous years with the consultancy service we provided.”
Silver fibre/yarn projects successfully continue
Dursun Ferikel, reminding that Teksel Tekstil not only represents numerous international brands in the Turkish market but also carries out R&D studies with its own corporate identity, stated that special studies on silver are successfully continuing. Ferikel concluded his words, as follows: “We develop 99.99% Pure Silver yarn, fibre and fabric-coated products. We produced 30/1 and 40/1 yarns by mixing UMORFIL fibre, our new product this year, with Silver and Cotton fibres. We support Monogruppe to produce healthy products for mothers and especially babies with these yarns. We provide consultancy and marketing contributions in addition to their product development processes.”
