Nyala 4, the best performing member of the fourth generation swissQprint flatbed printers, ranked first in the ‘best flatbed/hybrid printer < 250 sqm/h’ category and neon inks for UV printing, introduced by the company in 2021 and currently only available at swissQprint, were also the winners of the award in the ‘Consumables / UV inks’ category at the EDP Awards. EDP Awards jury, who chose swissQprint Nyala 4 as the first in the category of ‘best flatbed/hybrid printer < 250 sqm/h’, explained the reasons for this choice as follows; “The fourth-generation Nyala builds on the existing foundation while offering some serious improvements. The swissQprint Nyala’s environmentally friendly values are another reason why it can be considered a benchmark in large format printing”.

Neon inks for UV printing introduce glow into advertising technology
Neon inks for UV printing, exclusively available from swissQprint at present, were awarded in the category of ‘Consumables / UV inks’, and the jury made the following statement regarding the decision; “The first fluorescent UV-curable inks for inkjet digital printing … as well as introducing glow into advertising technology, they also deliver clear added value”.
Neon colours, which hit the market last year, make advertisements and signs glow even in the dark, and appear fluorescent. swissQprint users can print these eye-catching media in whichever versions they choose: on rigid substrates in any format, and also on roll materials. Neon Yellow and Neon Pink are available and make two additional colour variants possible, Neon Green and Neon Orange, along with countless applications.
