swissQprint, one of the leading manufacturers of UV printing technologies represented by Pigment Reklam in the Turkish market, exhibited its advanced UV flatbed and roll to roll solutions at the drupa 2024 and launched its innovations that improve automation.
swissQprint Chief of Sales and Marketing Officer Carmen Eicher, stating that more and more customers are looking to automate their printing processes while preserving flexibility, indicated that, as a company, they responded to these demands with the first unloading option. The new automation module, whose concept version was introduced at the exhibition, aims to lighten the operator’s workload while making it possible to carry out large-sized jobs efficiently by removing printed material up to 3.2 x 2 meters from the table of the flatbed printer. While new automation automates the unloading process, loading the press continues to be done manually.
Eicher said that they started to collect the first customer feedback during the development process of the unloading module, which they introduced as a concept: “drupa is now the perfect opportunity to show the conceptual study and collect broad-based feedback that will go into final development”. swissQprint is expected to launch the final product adapted to market needs in 2025.
Automation further expands versatility
swissQprint announced that the new unloading option maintains and even expands the versatility and accessibility of its printers. Appreciated by its customers for its variety of applications, swissQprint printers can handle special applications, short runs and roll jobs as in the past, because the new unloading option can be easily undocked from the printer at any time.
swissQprint’s drupa booth turned into a live demo area with other solutions as well as the unloading option. The high-end flatbed printer offering the highest performance was exhibited with the Kudu unloading option. Additionally, Karibu 2, which is extremely efficient and versatile thanks to its unique features, was also at the stand. Nyala, the best-selling model of its class in Europe for the last nine years, also attracted great attention from visitors as the flagship of swissQprint.
