Roland DG displayed developed solutions for digital textile printing during ITM 2016. The company achieved a highly successful show at its booth under the theme “Go Digital”.

Roland DG exhibited a rich product range towards digital textile printing at ITM 2016 and grabbed high interest with “Go Digital” motto and related solutions. At ITM 2016, Roland DG showcased the dye sublimation transfer printers, Texart XT-640, RT-640, and calendar Texart CS-64, the print&cut machines TrueVIS VG-640, VersaCAMM SP-540i and SOLJET PRO XR-640 models, the new UV printing desktop machine VersaUV LEF-300 at Hall 8, Booth 818.

Antonello Cristofori, Roland DG Marketing Manager commented that the trend says that more and more companies will shift quickly from analogue to digital, just as has happened to the traditional press. “Our mission is to make this passage be easy and safe through our digital solutions. Customers are particularly interested in the cost efficiencies and increased margins offered by our digital solutions and the versatility; in terms of outputs and the sheer range of applications. Also, the flexibility to adapt production to the requirements of end customers with ‘just in time’ processes, short runs and samples on demand are other factors. The reliability of the technology is another great benefit, enabling unattended printing to optimize production,” he argued.

Texart XT-640 was Launched to the Turkish Market

Cristofori reported that Texart XT-640 was launched for the first time in Turkey following ITMA 2015 and FESPA Digital 2016 fairs. With its rugged construction and dual print heads in a staggered formation, the Texart XT-640 is built to meet demanding production requirements, delivering print speeds up to 63m²/h*. The XT-640 offers stability, stunning print quality and superb high-speed performance, he informed.

Roland DG believes in the success of Turkish textile printing market, while the company first developed RT, then XT models. “We aim to offer solutions at all levels of sublimation printing for our customers. Thus, we replied our medium level customers with XT. It is an outstanding product which meets market demand with speed quality,” Cristofori said.

The company also launched VG 640 for the first time in Turkey. “With the new TrueVIS VG-640 and VG-540, the future of print and cut has arrived. New print heads that deliver beautiful prints more efficiently. New vibrant inks offer a wide color gamut. New cutting technology increases accuracy. It promises a new technology to communicate with your existing phones and tablets, and so much more,” noted Cristofori.

Price is not main criteria in their solutions as it does not mean quality, Noted Cristofori, while the important thing is to satisfy customers with product. “We aim our customers’ and their own customers’ satisfaction. Thereby, we do not take place in price competitions regarding our solutions. We aim to provide machines which have good quality and fully meet requirements. We focus on quality not the price,” he added.

We Trust Turkish Market

Cristofori said, “We strongly believe in Turkish market. We have made considerable investments in this country and we are ready to make new ones as well. We have just opened our office as Roland DG and we plan to develop it similar to our equipped office in Italy. Our investments in this potential market will continue. We started to work on a new project after opening our new office and we look forward to start working on Sign İstanbul in September and FESPA Eurasia in December this year.”
