A sale transaction was initiated for the factory of Dinateks, which has been among the suppliers of the world-famous denim brand Levi’s for many years, due to a debt. The first sale day of the 37,225 m² factory located in Tekirdağ Ergene Velimeşe Organized Industrial Zone was stated as January 25, 2025, while its total value was announced as 398,145,560.46 TL (Three hundred ninety-eight million one hundred forty-five thousand five hundred and sixty Turkish Lira forty-six penny).
The factory’s production line includes fabric spreading, automatic plaiting machines, automatic and manual fabric cutting machines, automatic garment machines used in various sewing and joining, old and new type denim washing and drying machines, denim grinding machines, denim colour brightening laser machines, quality control units, ironing, packaging, storage areas and management departments. There are buildings with a total area of 19,781.06 m² on the property.
Although there is no manufacturing in the factory at the moment, it is stated that the machines are in working order, machine maintenance is being carried out, the machines that need to work are being operated and checked, and a controlled waiting is being carried out throughout the factory.
Dinateks had declared bankruptcy at the beginning of 2024
The company had previously declared bankruptcy; Dinateks Dinamik Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, Dinakon Dinamik Konfeksiyon Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi and Dinapa Dinamik Pazarlama Anonim Şirketi, Müslüm Yıldız, Mehmet Alemdaroğlu and Emil Metin were granted a temporary respite of 3 months as of January 24, 2024. Later, the bankruptcy respite was extended for another 2 months, and the request for a definite respite was accepted in favour of the plaintiff companies and plaintiff individuals, and it was decided to grant a definite respite of one year as of June 4, 2024.
