Lamkowski stated the details of the innovations they will exhibit as follows: “We will be presenting three of our all-new, revolutionary Ultimax rapier weaving machines. Furthermore, we will also have an OmniPlus-i Connect airjet weaving machine on display. All of the important segments for the Turkish market will be represented at our booth: denim, voile/curtains home textiles, terry towels, and double-face fabric. In addition, all of the innovations we will be displaying are driven by our four design principles: Smart Performance, Sustainability Inside, Driven by Data, and Intuitive Control. Together, these design principles enable our customers to follow their weaving instincts and get the best possible results on all our platforms.”
Lamkowski, saying that Picanol will have the largest booth in Hall 8, noted that they are really excited to present the Ultimax rapier weaving machine for the very first time in Türkiye. Lamkowski stated: “The Ultimax focuses on three main benefits: ultimate performance and high-quality output, readiness for the sustainability requirements of tomorrow, and the greatest ease of use thanks to a maximum level of digitization. We will have an Ultimax machine on display that will be weaving denim fabric, one that will be weaving voile, and an Ultimax Terry.”
Picanol invites everyone to visit their booth to discover innovation
Kurt Lamkowski inviting everyone to visit their booth and discover their innovations, said that their aim is to show a variety of aspects of their high-tech portfolio that they can offer their customers. Lamkowski continued: “Different technologies (rapier and airjet), different shedding motions (dobby and SmartShed), different machine widths, and a variety of features. Furthermore, the visitors will have the opportunity to discover the many benefits of our digital platform PicConnect which will enable them to improve their weaving efficiency in various ways and ensure high-quality output.”
Underlining that with their strong presence at this exhibition, they once again want to make a clear statement on the importance of the Turkish market for Picanol and reconfirm their commitment to it, adding that they also hope to welcome customers and potential partners from other countries. Lamkowski said: “Our team is looking forward to explaining to those visiting our booth about how our innovations will ensure we continue to grow together with the global textile industry and our customers in particular.”
“Ultimax is the answer to all the weaving needs of Turkish manufacturers”
Pointing out that Türkiye is a very significant textile-producing market and all the different segments are important for Picanol, Kurt Lamkowski mentioned the following: “We feel that the Turkish market is facing several economic challenges. But our customers see the added value of further investing in high-tech machines to realize increased efficiency and higher productivity. There has also been considerable interest in the new Ultimax rapier weaving machine from Turkish companies. The higher industrial speeds of the Ultimax rapier weaving machine offer a valuable alternative for many airjet weavers, who will not only benefit from the lower energy consumption of a rapier machine but also from the versatility to weave a wider fabric range – which in turn increases their chances of diversification.”
In addition, Lamkowski noted that the importance of sustainable weaving and further digitalization is gaining growing importance in Türkiye and concluded: “Not to mention the fact that the Ultimax really is the answer to all their weaving needs. We are also seeing a growing interest from our Turkish customers in terms of support tools to further optimize their weaving sheds. The use of digital tools will help customers become more sustainable and more efficient and our PicConnect digital platform responds seamlessly to these demands!”
