Picanol digitizes weaving with the PicConnect platform

One of the innovations highlighted at the Picanol booth will be the recently launched PicConnect platform. The platform, acting as a gateway to all of the company’s digital services, offers Picanol customers a wide range of features, from industrial IoT to service-related applications. This includes, for example, the new webshop for Picanol Original Quality Parts called PartsLine. In addition, other applications include production monitoring, which enables production monitoring of weaving machines; energy monitoring that allows monitoring of the power consumption of machines and air consumption in airjet weaving machines, and style administration which allows users to swiftly open, edit and manage Picanol machine settings through a central repository. The cloud-based platform, closing up the distance between machines, can be accessed via a web browser on any device.

Picanol Worldwide Sales Manager Kurt Lamkowski said that going a step further and connecting Picanol weaving machines to PicConnect will allow their customers to leverage the full extent of the machine possibilities.

Lamkowski stated that they want to make a clear statement on the importance of this market for Picanol with their strong presence at this exhibition and disclosed; “Our team is really excited and looking forward to explaining how our innovations will ensure we continue to grow together with the Turkish textile industry and our customers in particular.”
