Speaking at the Outdoor Industry Meeting 2018 in Istanbul, industry professionals talked about road maps and success stories.
Outdoor Industry Meeting – Summit 2018 was held at the Conrad Hotel on 8 February with a great participation hosted by Sign Association of Turkey (ARED) and organized by the sub-committee of the association Young ARED. The ARED Outdoor Industry Meeting – Summit 2018; the first event that ARED has organized so extensively on behalf of the outdoor advertising industry; brought together corporate brand representatives, media and creative agency officials, academics and experienced manufacturers. The event is said to have received around 250 participants.
Event was mainly sponsored by SDS and representatives from firms operating outside the digital printing industry explained; how printing and advertising contributed to their business and they have shared their experiences. The opening speeches of the event were made by Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) Vice President Gökhan Murat Kalsın, ARED President Halil Eligür and Young ARED President Alihan Aydın, while CNN Turk news spiker Tunç Arslanalp undertook the presentation.

The Outdoor Industry Meeting – Summit 2018 program, consisting of a total of 7 sessions; purchasing behaviours and supplier choices of institutional firms, opportunities for opening up to foreign markets, the necessities of institutionalization, stories of growing companies, financing and grant aids, and process review of outdoor advertisements from design to assembly. Singer Mustafa Sandal participated in the event and made a speech about the art in innovation and entrepreneurship. The moderator of the sessions, which took place all day, was FikirOn’s founding partner and General Manager Alpay Alptekin. A plaque was given in memoriam of the day to the speakers who took part in the event.
