Optimum Solutions Bring Success in Digital Printing – Taner Can Güven

Optimum Digital Planet has an important place in the local and international printing industry with their solvent/eco solvent, UV and textile printers. The company participated in the FESPA Eurasia 2019 held in December 5-8, and shared their competitive products with visitors. The eco solvent printer Maxima INNO S, textile printer Picasso Tex and UV printer NIRVANA Hybrid UV showed their performance in the Optimum Digital Planet booth.

Answering Textilegence’s questions, Optimum Digital Planet International Sales Manager Taner Can Güven said that they left behind a very busy and successful fair. Güven stated that they had more meetings with the visitors compared to the previous fair; “We had the opportunity to meet professionals from various segments of the Turkish printing industry, as well as investors from neighbouring countries. We have provided important meetings with our local and foreign visitors for 4 days. We have provided information on the print quality and production power of our solutions, as well as on the technical support we provide after installation. We made realistic evaluations about investment and production costs. We have filled our agenda in order to realize these negotiations after the fair”.

Stating that they are primarily focused on exhibiting their technological strengths at FESPA Eurasia 2019 as well as other fairs they participated, Güven said that their booth concepts were designed accordingly. Güven reminded that they exhibited printing machines for 3 different applications; “Printing that can be accomplished with solvent, textile and UV printers is almost limitless. We also exhibited a special solution for leather printing. While we are expanding our product range as Optimum Digital Planet, we take into consideration the needs of the market as well as the demands of the market today”.

Optimum Digital Planet’s international market experience supports technological development

Underlining that they are the only domestic company in digital printing technologies, Taner Can Güven said that they offer the most advanced technology to their customers. Güven continued his words as follows; “As Optimum Digital Planet, our solutions fall under three main headings; solvent/eco solvent, textile and UV printing. With different models in each segment, we cater to all print manufacturers from industrial production to lower volumes. We know that each industry has different needs. For this reason, our solutions have been developed and equipped with new technologies to meet these demands and needs”.

Güven emphasized their presence in the international market as a 100% domestic machine manufacturer. Explaining their experience in international markets contributes to R&D and technology development processes, Güven continued saying; “For example, we have reflected our experience in textile markets such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, and India to our textile printing machines. Different printing speeds in our different models for textile meet the exact needs. In home textiles we can reach speeds of up to 200 square meters per hour in industrial mode. In garment fabrics printing, we are able to offer production speeds of 300 to 400 square meters per hour. What makes us different from our competitors is that we can present our advanced technology to customers; by expanding it to different application areas”.

Güven stated that they are reaching out to outdoor advertising and textile industries; as well as glass, furniture and leather industries with their rich and strong product portfolio. Güven stated that they launched their leather printing solution for the first time at FESPA Eurasia; “Leather is a material that is difficult to process and has its own differences. As Optimum Digital Planet, we have developed a very ambitious solution. We made sample printing during the fair and showed our difference. We are working to expand digital printing to new areas of application”.

2020 market target points out to a stronger position

Taner Can Güven also informed about Optimum Digital Planet’s 2020 market targets; and said that in addition to the Turkish printing industry, they want to strengthen their positions especially in the Eurasian regional markets. Güven concluded his words as follows; “Both our production capacity and our power to reach target markets take us one step ahead of our competitors. We closely monitor local markets. Our continuous R&D activities provide us with new opportunities. Our talks with visitors at the fairs show that the pending investments will no longer be postponed in 2020. I can say that we will work more in 2020 to offer our customers the opportunity to invest safely in printing”.
