Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, apparel fabrics and accessories fair will take place from October 11 to 13 this year while the Autumn Edition 2016 will see global and domestic trends for the 2017-2018 Autumn-Winter season displayed. Organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK), the event is considered to be the most important platform of Asia in terms of textile and fabrics. In addition to six Trend Forums revealing overseas and domestic trends of the future season, the Digital Printing Forum and panel will discuss design, trend and sustainability topics in the industry.
Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics is among the leading fabric and accessories fairs in Asia, particularly in China. It gathers domestic and global manufacturers as well as purchasers, witness new trends and form powerful network relations. In addition to new collections to be exhibited the fair also sets the industry directions with live event schedules. Intertextile Directions Trend Forum will be held by an international committee at Hall 6.2 this year under 3 themes: Enigmatic, Manifest and Eccentric. A luxurious and thoroughly modern theme is Enigmatic, while authenticity and nostalgia resonate will be represented by Manifest. Eccentric will emphasize chic and entertainment. Alongside this international fabric Trend Forum, there will be five Fabrics China Trend Forums.
In the 2015 Autumn Edition, the fair first launched the Digital Printing Forum while the second edition is set to discuss hot topics of the industry once again. Leading experts of the industry will share their knowledge about global trends and developing textile printing technologies. Another outstanding event will be Design, Trend and Sustainability Seminars.
The spring edition had welcomed 3155 participants from 27 countries and regions while it had achieved to attract more than 71.000 visitors from over 100 countries.
