Monarch Knitting Machinery Corporation, one of the world’s leading circular knitting machine manufacturers, is preparing to meet face to face with the Turkish market at ITM 2022. The company will host its visitors in Hall 7, Booth 711B, together with its local representative in the Turkish market, Teksel Tekstil, with whom they have been business partners for more than 30 years. Monarch Knitting Machinery Corporation Commercial Manager Matthew Brunton said that the main importance for Monarch this year at ITM 2022 will be to meet up with existing and new customers that they have not been able to visit within Türkiye during the pandemic. Brunton stated that face-to-face meetings with customers clearly make the difference.

Monarch offers easy cam setting with model ‘M-LEC7BS 30 x 28’

Matthew Brunton explained the main features of the double knit electronic jacquard model M-LEC7BS 30 x 28 to exhibit as follows; “This model has 3-way selection (Knit, Tuck, Welt) on the cylinder and RDS system (Rotary Drop System) on the dial which utilises a cam wrench tool that enables the user to achieve quick and easy cam setting adjustments. This allows users to make adjustments from the outside of the machine on the dial side without the need to remove any elements. The benefit of this system will help to reduce the amount of time taken to change cam structure from knit, tuck, welt and support for the machine pattern”.

Brunton disclosed that they introduced to their customers the MMS (Monarch Monitoring System), where they had partnered up with industry leaders BMS (Belgium Monitoring System) to offer Monarch/Fukuhara customers a world-leading MES system (Manufacturing Execution  System) for the knitting industry at ITMA 2019 in Barcelona. He said; “It monitors and synchronizes all manufacturing and logistic activities within the knitting mill, from yarn purchasing and inventory up to the shipment of the finished fabric”.

Brunton stated that the demand for circular knitting machines has increased significantly in Türkiye due to the tendency of choosing closer markets such as Türkiye, especially after the start of the pandemic, and ended his words as follows; “The biggest demand in terms of pieces is still for single and double plate mechanical machines, but as Monarch, we maintain our market leadership by far in the quilting machines known as bed cover fabric in recent years, together with large investment projects. The most important factor in choosing Monarch circular knitting machines is their high production capacity as well as long-lasting, trouble-free production”.
