DuPont, which has more than 30 years of experience of innovation in inkjet inks, will meet its visitors with its new pigment ink series DuPont™ Artistri® Brite P5500 at FESPA Global Print Expo 2022 to be held in Berlin, Germany from May 31 to June 3. The company’s new inks to be exhibited at booth C60 in hall 27, with their special design appeal to Direct To Garment (DTG) decorators and fulfillment houses who want to move to digital printing but need a faster and more reliable process that provides high quality and repeatability. Visitors will be able to learn more about the DuPont™ Artistri® P5500 ink set, which allows printers to tailor their ink usage to the application without compromising colour, fastness and repeatability, at the DuPont booth during the exhibition.
The high gamut volume aqueous-based ink set, designed to work on printers with low-viscosity piezo-electric printheads, can be used for all DTG applications, including Direct to Film (DTF) printing.
DuPont Artistri P5500; more fastness, reduced curing time
The new Artistri® P5500 set of ink colours delivers improved wash fastness with both press or oven curing and faster curing times while the Artistri® P5590 white ink offers the opacity and stretch that customers value for longer shelf life.
Inks with a gamut volume of over 175,000 in brilliant colours have a white coverage of L*>92. DuPont™ Artistri® P5500 inks have a longer shelf life through improved redispersibility and offer dark shirt wash fastness after 5 washes at 45C for press and oven cure over 4 on the 0-5 scale.
