FESPA GPE 2024 visitors experienced the latest soft signage and color management solutions at MS Printing Solutions booth. MS Printing Solutions and JK Group Product Marketing Manager Matteo Forte said that the atmosphere at FESPA GPE 2024 was sparkling and stimulating, noting: “The overall mood was enriched by the many customers and visitors who stepped by the booth. It has been a pleasure to personally unveil our new software Color Pack to our customers during the show and the feedback we received was undeniably satisfying and a source of pride for all of us.”
MS Printing Solutions Color Pack: more than just a product upgrade
Matteo Forte noted that the exhibition has been a great opportunity to showcase their Soft Signage solution and Color Pack – the new color management and calibration software. Saying; “Color Pack is more than just a product upgrade, thanks to the dedicated Color Algorithm, it boosts the systems’ performances by expanding your gamut, increasing ink yield, simplifying color management and reducing processing time. Via its proprietary algorithm, it generates and elaborates a unique recipe, pixel by pixel, of each color reference of your design. It calibrates the colors based on your machines, ink settings, print heads and fabric, transmitting the design to your RIP, ready to be printed by the machine,” Forte continued as follows:
“Among its many benefits, there are two notable modules: Color Match, that helps you improve the reproducibility of your target colors. It aligns all MS printing systems in your production plant to achieve the same colors, independently of the printing and setting conditions. The other benefit is Color Boost, a module that helps to expand the color gamut and brightness, enhancing the performance of your colors by enabling higher brilliance and a wider color gamut, as well as reducing the number of non-matchable colors.”
He expressed that FESPA GPE 2024 also marked the European debut of their Soft Signage solution. Stating that it is made up of JK Group’s Digistar K-One dye sub ink, MS Printing Solution’s JP4 and Color Pack, he disclosed: “Together they form a unique solution that boasts high colour consistency and repeatability of the results over time, high-quality printing outputs, high productivity capacity (424sqm/h) and a sustainable and circular production chain.”
Discussions focus were speed, versatility and high-quality
Matteo Forte underlined that discussing is essential to let people truly get their solutions/products and their benefits, saying: “Being there, talking directly with customers and showing them our products and their results is the best way to let people understand the underlying quality which characterises all of our products and services.” He mentioned that printing manufacturers were really focused on machines and their performances and added: “There are some key elements that are always under the spotlight, e.g. machines’ printing speed, versatility and the ability to obtain high-quality results – which are all elements we take into great consideration while designing our solutions. There are also some pillars nowadays that can be quite easily identified and they guide decision makers’s choices. An example is sustainability and the related desire to improve products and services in that direction.”
Forte, commenting on market dynamics and investments, stated that FESPA GPE 2024 definitely offered a unique opportunity to witness a lively market and that there have for sure been positive signals indicating that a recovery of the whole industry is on its way. He continued: “We mustn’t forget, though, that 2023 has been a complex year for the global market, navigating between innovations and challenges. Financial and geopolitical pressure, as inflation and regional conflicts, marked the year, along with a change in the consumption model. It has been necessary to set careful planning, considering many different variables to face risks and uncertainties. In this scenario, the benefits offered by digital printing are enormous and objective and we couldn’t be more proud to be among the leaders of the market.”
Saying that they truly believe the creation and development of solutions to be the future, Forte ended his words as follows: “Our integrated system is a game changer, because machine, ink and software work in synergy to deliver the best quality. Having a unique interlocutor, a partner to go to and discuss machines, inks and software really is an added value for our customers in more than one sense, it is synonymous to safety for the supply chain, the maintenance and the assistance.”
