One of the leading retail and garment brands, Spanish-based MANGO published its 12th Sustainability Report for 2015 financial year which covers all action criterion and prepared according to the International Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). This report demonstrates the company’s latest situation on economical, employment, environmental ve social relationships.
It is stated in the the report that the brand would start using recycled fibers; as part of undertaking for sustaining its eco-friendly activities. It is explained that the organic cotton would be used in every product; the project of giving used attires and shoes to company owned shops; started in 2015 in order to support textile waste cycle was also mentioned in the report.
MANGO opened 63 new mega shops last year
Giving priority to expanding in 2015; the group acquired total 804,512 square meters space with 100 thousand square meters new sales area; as a result of its new mega and flagship shop opening policy. The company opened 63 new mega shops last year. Increasing its financial turnover in the ratio of 9% compared to 2014; the brand reached 2.327 billion Euro turnover in total.
