Turkey’s leading textile manufacturer, Kıvanç Tekstil has made an outstanding production move towards global markets. The company has joined forces with Indian major, Reliance Industries (RIL) and is set to manufacture R|Elan™ GreenGold 2.0, a sustainable and innovative fabric , for global apparel brands.
The two companies signed an agreement to provide the best quality eco-friendly textile solutions to brands and retailers to meet the ever growing demand of environment friendly apparels as well as using Recron® GreenGold fibres in mixed polyester fabrics. Kıvanç Tekstil will not only manufacture and market R|Elan GreenGold fabrics but also will be the sole exclusive distributor of Recron® GreenGold fibres to spinners, yarn manufactures and knitters across Turkey.
Kıvanç Tekstil set for boosted growth on heels of the project

PET bottles turn to innovative fabrics
Kıvanç Tekstil is renowned worldwide to cater for major European and American fashion brands. As an integrated manufacturer across spinning, weaving, dyeing, printing and finishing; Kıvanç produces 18 million meters of blended fabrics per year. Its yield comprises a wide range of blends straddling polyester, cotton, viscose, linen, tencel, modal and wool.
RIL, the owner of brands R|Elan and Recron, is one of the largest recycler of PET bottles in India; recycling 2.2 billion PET bottles per annum. R|Elan GreenGold fibre, made from recycled PET, reduces emission of greenhouse gases to a large extent. The fabric being made from pre-dyed fibres are not in deed of much water. Whatever little water is used, 90% of it is recycled.
