Preparations picked up speed for Turkey and the region’s largest textile machinery and technologies exhibition ITM’s 2020 edition. ‘GREAT IDEA: ITM 2020’ introductory video, filmed for the exhibition, was shared and liked hundreds of times following its publication in the website and social media accounts.
The ITM 2020 International Textile Machinery Exhibition will be held from June 2 to 6, 2020 in Istanbul TÜYAP, and will host hundreds of domestic and international brands of the industry. An important step was taken in the promotional activities of the exhibition where new technologies and services will be introduced and several world premieres will take place. Emphasizing the success of the past ITMs and their contribution to the industry, the ‘GREAT IDEA: ITM 2020’ video was published on social media accounts like YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook as well as the official web page of the exhibition. The video attracted a lot of attention on digital media in a short period of time as many shares and likes followed.
Important participants of the exhibition express their views about ITM in the introductory video. Company officials of the industry’s leading exhibitors, such as Oerlikon, Picanol, Monforts, Savio, Effe, Uster, Stoll, Karl Mayer, SPGPrints, Loepfe, Beneks, Itema, Elteksmak, SSM and Mayer & Cie, highlight the international success of the exhibition. Accentuating ITM as a ‘global brand’, company officials express their delight about their participation to this exhibition allowing them to meet with textile markets of Turkey and the regions. ITM 2020 will be the bridge connecting the eastern and western textile world
In the introductory video, ITM exhibitions are highlighted as the meeting point of new, extraordinary and original ideas; and as platforms standing out with innovations and launches and achieving a global success with its distinguished position. Necip Güney, chairman of Teknik Fuarcılık, gave information about the preparations for the exhibition; and said that the ITM 2020 would be a bridge between the eastern and western textile worlds. Güney expressed the following;
“As in previous years, ITM 2020 will continue to hold the pulse of the industry next year. ITM 2020 will be the meeting point of hundreds of manufacturers and global investors developing leading technologies from the very beginning to the end of the textile supply chain; and will be transformed into a feast of textile technologies with the participation and visit of trade committees. ITM makes a difference not only with the display of technologies; but also as a platform where sectoral communication is experienced at the highest level; and where ideas and designs are discussed”.
Great ideas, new technologies and their scene
Pointing out to the developing structure of the textile industry especially in Turkey; Necip Güney recalled the increasing demand for quality and that cost savings have great effect in new investments. Güney; “We have already started to feel this trend more strongly in the latest exhibitions. Considering the opportunities provided by digitalization; it is inevitable that ITM 2020 will be a stage; where textile is integrated with technology and transformed into big ideas”. Stating that the exhibition attracted sector professionals, decision makers and procurement committees; Güney also announced that their organization continued on these issues.
Reminding that the ITM 2018 fair hosted 59 thousand professional visitors from 94 countries; Necip Güney added that this figure will increase exponentially in the next exhibition; and that the million Euro business volume created in the last exhibition will expand.
