ITM 2016 : A Global Textile Show With 49.730 Visitors. ITM 2016 International Textile Machinery Exhibition was held on June 1-4. ITM 2016, the meeting point for the industry professionals, where the textile technology giants gathered, put a smile on the exhibitors’ faces with its more than 49.000 visitors.
ITM 2016 International Textile Machinery Exhibition turned out to be the most important gathering for the textile industry. Being the most significant textile technology show in the region, ITM 2016 managed to be an organization where both domestic and foreign companies made sales of millions of Euros and various business contacts were established. At ITM 2016, brand-new technologies were launched for four days. ITM 2016 gained appreciation as the most extensive among all ITM Fairs up to now with its 49.730 visitors.
At ITM 2016 held with 1200 textile technology-manufacturing companies and company representatives from almost 70 countries in totally 13 halls, the products and technologies which the industry faced for the first time stood out. During ITM 2016, particularly the halls of weaving and yarn machinery, digital printing and knitting experienced a significant growth. The world’s textile technology manufacturing companies had been well-prepared for ITM 2016 and took part in the fair with their special booths of several square-meters. Held with the participation of all the industry manufacturers exhibiting their machinery, ITM 2016 served as an indicator showing how much importance the world textile technology manufacturers paid to Turkey and the regional market. Visitors from all over the world, particularly Iran, Egypt, Turkey, India, Tunisia, Pakistan, China, Ukraine, Italy, Germany, Algeria, the Russian Federation, Syrian Arab Republic, Morocco, Bulgaria, Bangladesh, Greece, Serbia, Kyrgyzstan, Saudi Arabia caught the eye.
Official and commercial committees from various countries visited ITM 2016. Particularly besides representatives of the ministry of textile industry, industrial associations and union administrations, an important number of procurement committees from Tehran and Tabriz were present. Also purchasing committees from Egypt, India, Russia, Macedonia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Ukraine, Tunisia and Morocco attract attention at ITM 2016.
