During the measures and shutdowns due to the pandemic, online communication and video meetings have been the main methods adopted to maintain interaction. In these days when face-to-face interaction is still not possible for many international exhibitors, the ready-to-wear fabrics and accessories fair Intertextile Apparel 2021 autumn edition comes with a range of hybrid and online solutions for both buyers and visitors at the same time as the physical event. Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition will be held on August 25-27, at Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Centre together with Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Autumn Edition, Yarn Expo Autumn, CHIC and PH Value.
Digital services already experienced in the previous two editions of the fair will seamlessly connect the global textile industry with solutions suitable for each exhibitor and buyer. In this way, Intertextile Apparel 2021 autumn edition will not only encourage interpersonal connection, communication and business matching, but also enable participants to maintain their commercial interactions.
Crossing borders with Intertextile Apparel 2021: Hybrid Exhibition Package
Developed as a solution for international companies that cannot have a face-to-face attendance due to travel restrictions, the Hybrid Exhibition Package will provide participants with an efficient exhibition experience. In this solution, which differs from other digital trade fairs with its on-site display feature, an on-site booth will be allocated to the exhibitors in a special hybrid showcase area. Thus, buyers will have the chance to examine the products one-on-one. Additionally, the booth will have AV equipment to display exhibitor-provided video material for additional product display.
QR codes will be used to provide instant communication between visitors and hybrid exhibitors at the fair. On-site buyers will be directed to a sourcing platform by scanning the QR codes displayed at the booth. In addition, buyers will be able to view hybrid exhibitors’ products and profile, as well as mark their favourite products, submit request/order forms, and message the supplier directly from their personalized sourcing page.
Intertextile’s hybrid services include pre-event webinar demos for attendees. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to promote their prominent products through webinars planned before the exhibition in order to increase their brand visibility before the event.
Connect PLUS: job matching platform
Among the digital solutions in the Intertextile Apparel 2021 autumn edition is the popular online job matching platform Connect PLUS. Powered by AI technology, Connect PLUS suggests potential suitable job matches based on specific sourcing criteria. In addition, users can schedule video meetings before, during and after the screening, while sending messages to potential business partners.
Accessible to all online and onsite exhibitors, the fair’s mobile app offers an all-in-one platform designed to connect Intertextile’s database of potential buyers with suppliers. Participants can use the “News Feed” feature to interact with buyers who can initiate communication with the instant messaging feature. Thus, it can act early and transmit product information to buyers.
Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition attendees will also benefit from a live streaming platform where featured videos can be stored, which will support the live streaming of on-site seminars and product presentations. While the seminars/presentations will be available to be watched after the event, highlights will be shared especially on social media platforms to reach more potential buyers.
Bossa will take part in the fair with its recycled products
Bossa Trade and Industry Enterprises (TAS) from Turkey will be present at the fair with a wide range of products including recycled cotton, recycled PET, organic cotton, natural fibres and more. Developing a zero-waste life cycle and producing 100% high quality recycled denim using r-PET and recycled cotton fibres for the R-PET project, Bossa will meet with its visitors at booth 7.2-E41. NILIT Ltd from Israel, tide ocean SA from Switzerland and Yagi & Company (HK) Ltd from Hong Kong are among the other brands that will participate in the event with their eco-friendly solutions.
