Adding coating range for technical applications aside from finishing solutions to its product range, Monforts underlines its interest towards Turkish market.

Attending to Techtextil 2017 fair on May, Monforts exhibited its special coating solutions developed for technical textiles industry for the first time. Monforts gave place to texCOAT coating solutions for many demands including membrane and filter applications. Various new coating units including cylinder air knife system; magnetic cylinder systems as well as print head systems were presented at the firm’s booth for the first time. Monforts’ coating solutions also include recently launched Montex Allround. Managing to attract attention of visitors coming from internation technical textile market throughout Techtextil, the company continues its innovative works on technical textile applications.

Turkish textilers keep on investing in Monforts solutions

We asked about his views on Turkish market to Monforts Sales and Marketing Vice President Klaus Heinrichs; whom we took opinions during the fair. Stating that Turkish textilers keep on investing in Monforts solutions; Heinrichs explained that they got offers in high numbers especially from centers like Çorlu and Çerkezköy. Heinrichs said; “We see a serious demand rise especially for coating range. This shows us that Turkey is now more focused on technical textiles market. After that challenging incident that Turkey went through and referendum left behind; manufacturers are now concentrated on the future, investment and manufacture. ” Heinrichs emphasized that as the only manufacturer that can provide all coating range from a single source; they give confidence to manufacturers in both international and Turkish market.

Saying that Turkish customers have a significant experience on textile treating, Heinrichs stressed that value is added to the product with coating and technical textile technology. Expressing; “We expect that many more textile products will start being manufactured in Turkey in the next 5-6 years”, Heinrichs continued thusly;

“Not only the last year but also the last 5-6 years should be used as a base in order to make evaluations on Turkish market. Only then, you can understand the power of the market. This shows us that this country is a trustworthy supplier as well as a key market in terms of matters such as geopolitical location, short supply time. There can be ups and downs in Turkish market just like any other markets; however, as I said 5-6 years of reports should be taken into consideration for these kinds of evaluations. ”

New representative Neotek

Explaining that they did a good job in Turkish market with their new representative Neotek Tekstil; Heinrichs recorded that their representative has a young structure in sales area and that reflects positively in the market. Stating that they will continue attending to ITM fairs which they defined as ‘leading fair’ in Turkey, Heinrichs said these; “ITM is a very powerful and locally influential fair, the organisers are very successful, they are very aware of the seriousness of what they do. As attendees they provide us a platform where we can meet the market in real terms. We know that the investment made for attending to ITM will be paid back soon from our experiences. Fair is organized at the heart of Turkish economy; Istanbul, it is a unique place to reach everywhere and everyone. ”

ECO Denim Line Covers Innovations

Stating that Monforts is continuosly working on innovations Klaus Heinrichs said that they focus heavily on exclusive works and executions. Expressing that one of these systems is ECO DENIM line, Heinrichs explained the features of this line thusly; “We formed two powerful references for this line of ours. One of which is light weight denim finishing in Vietnam and the other one is heavy weight denim finishing issues in Mexico. ECO DENIM line consumes much less energy in finishing thanks to Monforts’ modified steaming device, ECO Applicator and new components. While this systems applies power to the fabric more gently, it saves up highly from steam. Thusly, it reduces the cost in steam manufacturing down to 40%. Therefore, as the cost reduction in 1 meter fabric finishing makes it attractive, it also reinforces the manufacturers in market competition. ”

Reminding that the other innovation of Monforts is the heat recovery system with automatic cleaning introduced in last months, Heinrichs stated that this system provides advantage thanks to its maintenance-free feature. Another innovation is Qualitex 800 control desk having a simple menu guidance with touch-screen. Equipped with PLC(Programmable logic process controller), Qualitex 800 owns a single type design for all Monforts product range.
