Great Success of Istanbul Yarn Fair in 2016
Held in February 2016, the International Istanbul Yarn Fair experienced a wave of intense interest by 7,954 visitors from 77 countries. Having become the 2nd biggest and most extensive yarn fair, it took place with the participation of companies and company representatives from 17 countries.
Concentrating on international marketing activities for the yarn industry to penetrate new markets, the Fair was visited by professional purchasing committees invited by Tüyap to meet with participating companies. Flooded by visitors as a result of an effective marketing campaign, Istanbul Yarn Fair received full marks from exhibitors because of the export opportunities it offered, becoming the most successful yarn fair of the last 13 years. Participating companies were pleased with the number and quality of visitors and had a productive event by meeting potential customers.
