Canon Eurasia Adds ‘Professionalism’ to its Digital Printing Solutions

Taking place at FESPA Eurasia with its UV printing series Océ Arizona and the other solutions, Canon Eurasia attracted great interest with the concepts it presented.

Attending to FESPA Eurasia with a different and creative booth design once again, Canon Eurasia became a common spot of visitors throughout the fair. Inviting visitors to its exhibition area at the booth and to see its solutions with ‘come and see’ motto, the firm demonstrated Office, industrial type, colour and black and white printers. Among Océ Arizona Series demonstrated at the fair, Océ  Arizone 1260 GT flatbed UV printer gained recognition with its image quality close to photography and advanced versatility in both flexible and solid area applications.

Stating that they were prepared to FESPA Eurasia 2016 with a goal-oriented mind and thusly attended to the fair with special products, Mas-Deha Professional Systems Product Manager Yavuz Deniz, highlighted that both the products they exhibited and concepts were appreciated by the visitors. Deniz said; “As Canon, we had a successful fair in terms of meeting our target customers and making business with them and this result which exceeded our expectations made us very happy.”

Implying that Canon’s rich product portfolio could be seen at the fair booth, Deniz reminded that they have solutions suitable for all professionals in the printing sector. Deniz explained apart from C800-C10000 series in colored digital layer printing, 2 wide format UV printers for indoor from Océ Arizona series came to the forefront. Yavuz Deniz reported that they received very positive feedbacks in the sector and at the fair with Océ Arizona series.

Underlining the fact that no sacrifice was made in Océ Arizona series having a rich UV print portfolio, Yavuz Deniz stated; “There are many big-small, marked-unmarked UV printing machines in the market. Océ Arizona proved itself in UV printing sector by being sold more than 5 thousand worldwide. In the series, there are products that can print from 18m2 to155m2 an hour. There is a classification in Canon’s all product portfolio in terms of speed and efficiency including Océ Arizona series. No matter how the high the speed goes, the quality isn’t reduced. All the products have the same value in terms of quality.”

Saying that print head technology is very important in digital printing, Deniz reported that they had been working with the same print head Océ Arizona series for 10 years. Deniz continued thusly; “Of course, our machines are updated and improved constantly. Small, technological touches in our models made with the direction of our customers and market’s demand, turn them into more flexible, efficient and attractive. The same print head’s 3rd  generation models are installed in our machines now. Even tough the series stay the same, models are developed constantly.”

The Market was Generally Weak in 2016

Making statements about digital printing sector’s situation, Yavuz Demir said that 2016 was a year that didn’t meet the expectations in all sectors and stayed under the previous year. Underlining the negative effects of terrorist attaks began in the first term of the year and the 15th of July coup attempt in this process, Deniz said; “People’s concentration for work was damaged. Some concerns beyond sales and trade occured. That’s why investors drew back. Now, people started to state their concerns about 2017 instead of looking back to 2016.”

Expressing that despite the negative situation in the sector, Canon Eurasia firm Mas-Deha passed a successful test in terms of reaching to goals in 2016, Deniz stated that they would work in order to improve their sales by taking not concerned but cautious steps in 2017.

We Desire to Sell Machines to Customers That Can Be A Reference

Stating that Canon has no worry about selling machines to everybody everywhere, Yavuz Deniz said that they prefer customers that can actually use the machine, make production with it and can be reference for them afterwards. Deniz ended his words thusly; “That’s why we always put the principle which is bringing the right machine with the right customer forward as Canon’s work motto,”
