The 15th Central Asian International Textile Machinery Exhibition – CAITME 2024 was held in Tashkent on September 11-14. The exhibition, occupied all the exhibition areas of NEC ‘Uzexpocentre’, attended by 403 companies from 22 countries, was visited by more than 6,100 specialists and Türkiye included the top 5 in terms of the number of participants among foreign countries. The business programme of the exhibition included seminars and master-classes of famous leaders of the world textile machinery industry.
Maintaining its high status which is regularly confirmed by the independent audit of the UFI World Exhibition Association, CAITME ranks first among similar events in CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries and is the second largest on the Asian continent.
Among the countries that attended CAITME 2024 are: Austria, Belgium, China, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Korea, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Türkiye, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and Uzbekistan. The national pavilions of Germany and Italy were well represented. The top 5 in terms of the number of participants among foreign countries were: China, Turkiye, Italy, Germany, and India.
Sector leaders showed their latest innovations at CAITME 2024
CAITME provides an important platform for the display and demonstration of achievements and developments of world manufacturers in the field of textile and sewing machinery. Both equipment and technologies already been tested for years and innovative novelties are presented at the exhibition.
At CAITME 2024, the Swiss textile machinery producer Rieter presented the ROBOspin, the first fully automated yarn joining robot for the current and previous generations of Rieter ring spinning machines.
The renowned German manufacturer Truetzschler presented the innovative new TC30i carding machine for processing cotton fibre, which achieves the best possible quality level from any raw material, high productivity independent of the machine operator, and rational handling of slubs that can be sold afterwards.
Saurer, a global technology company in fibre and yarn processing, presented for the first time in Uzbekistan at CAITME 2024 the Autoairo high-speed technology, the new Zinser 51 ring spinning machine, and the Autocard SC 7.
According to the surveys and personal communication, it is stated that for the overwhelming majority of exhibitors, participation in the exhibition was productive from the point of view of maintaining business contacts, presentation of innovations, and searching for new partners and clients. In line with this, 80 percent of exhibitors have already booked places at CAITME 2025. It is announced that the date of the 2025 edition is September 9-11 and stand bookings are open.
