Alfa Genau, an engineering company that brings together the experience of experts in the textile industry and the dynamism of young people, had its first exhibition experience at ITM 2024. Founded by Mert Yalçın and Kazım Erdoğan in 2023, during the exhibition the company underlined its experience in the industry and its quality and customer-oriented approach, despite being a new formation. Working with important partners such as Saurer, Premier, Geron, Inarco and Sieger, Alfa Genau acts as a reliable bridge between companies and customers in after-sales processes. Providing solutions by establishing close relationships with suppliers in Europe, India and China, the company aims to ensure quality control by prioritizing customer satisfaction and to provide effective and fast solutions to possible problems.
Alfa Genau was satisfied with the exhibition
Saying that ITM 2024 is Alfa Genau’s first exhibition experience, company general manager Mert Yalçın noted; “The exhibition was very positive for us. We had intensive meetings with both local and foreign visitors. Although we are a newly established company, we clearly demonstrated our service power and received very positive feedback. We would like to thank all our customers who visited us”. He stated that among the products that attracted the most attention from the yarn industry during the exhibition were automation solutions, ribbon transport systems, card wires as well as printing elements and apron and cot products.
Disclosing that there is a recession in textile, like many sectors all over the world, Yalçın expressed; “Inflation and the resulting economic uncertainty in the world also have an impact on this. However, based on our observations, we think that the market will become active again in the near future”. He noted that as a company, they focus on providing solutions to the textile industry with after-sales services such as spare parts, modernization solutions, preventive maintenance packages, customer-specific engineering solutions, service training, technology training, electronic-mechanical applications, repair and optimization.

Underlining that they are an engineering company focused on experience and performance, Mert Yalçın said; “Alfa Genau is a game-changing structure that manages to unite well-known experts and young engineers with their experience in the textile industry under one roof. In this regard, our first goal is to strengthen our ties with textile professionals by increasing our awareness in the market as a brand. Meanwhile, in the long term, we aim to be one of the most important actors in the Turkish market”. He added that they aim to provide the best solutions needed by the Turkish textile industry with the brands and product portfolios they represent, and that they will take strategic steps in this context.
He stated that the textile and fashion industry cannot be imagined without yarn and fabric, indicating that a perfect production guarantees the quality of the product. “The Turkish textile industry has also gained worldwide trust and recognition in terms of quality and production. Alfa Genau will demonstrate its difference in this sense with the services it offers at the same quality. The same features also apply to our founders,” Yalçın relayed. Noting that they plan to come together with the sector at exhibition in the coming period, he said that they want to appear in all exhibitions that cover the Turkish market and appeal to the textile machinery industry.
