ITM 2024 visitor ticket prices became the focus of criticism
While some participating companies stated that the high visitor entrance fee of ITM 2024 negatively affected the number of visitors, they also pointed out that bringing machinery to the exhibition was quite costly. Some participants stated that for this reason they preferred booths where only final products were displayed or digital demonstrations were made. On the other hand, several companies made a quick start to the exhibition by selling machines on the first day.
ITM hosted the participants and press members at the gala held at TÜYAP Hotel on the evening of the second day of the exhibition. In addition to refreshments and dinner, the gala included live music and local folk-dance shows. At the event, a commemorative specially embroidered ceramic plate was also presented to Ernesto Maurer, former president of CEMATEX, for his contributions to the global textile industry.
