ITM 2024 International Textile Machinery Exhibition and HIGHTEX 2024 International Technical Textiles and Nonwoven Exhibition were included in the 2024 ‘Buyer Delegation Support List’ announced by the Ministry of Commerce of the Republic of Türkiye. In light of this, ITM and HIGHTEX 2024 will host purchasing delegations from several countries, such as Bangladesh, Algeria, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Morocco, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Serbia, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Venezuela and Vietnam. Purchasing delegations from these countries will be able to hold meetings with manufacturers in all areas of the textile industry, from weaving to knitting, from fiber to yarn, from denim to technical textiles, from dyeing to printing and finishing.
ITM 2024 will be organized through the partnership of Tüyap Tüm Fuarcılık Yapım A.Ş. and Teknik Fuarcılık A.Ş., and in cooperation with the Textile Machinery and Accessories Industrialists Association (TEMSAD); and will open its doors to its visitors at Tüyap Fair and Congress Centre on 4-8 June 2024. One of the most important organizations in the world in its field, ITM 2024 will host textile technology leaders in Istanbul for 5 days. Global industry investors and professional visitors will come together at ITM 2024 to see the latest technologies closely.
Visa convenience will increase the number of visitors to ITM 2024
On the other hand, Türkiye’s visa facilitation will make ITM 2024 a global destination. Leading textile machinery manufacturers, global sector investors and professional visitors will meet at ITM 2024 to see the latest textile technologies. The fact that textile manufacturers from countries that have visa problems going to Europe do not have this problem coming to Istanbul will increase the number of participants and visitors of the ITM 2024. Many countries such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Vietnam, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Iran, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, which are the shining stars of the textile world with their great potential and production power, have visa agreements with Türkiye, and this will be effective in increasing the number of visitors. Textile manufacturers of countries that have visa problems when traveling to Europe will be able to obtain their visas by applying to the Consulates of the Republic of Türkiye in their own countries.
In addition, the fact that the exhibition is held in Istanbul, which is the geographically closest point connecting the countries, turns the exhibition into a centre of attraction for both participants and visitors. Located a 3-hour flight away from the world’s important trade centres, Istanbul provides easy transportation to both the surrounding provinces and neighbouring countries by air, sea and land.
New production techniques such as machines designed to increase production efficiency and reduce costs, digitalization, artificial intelligence and automation will be one of the focal points of the ITM 2024. Machines and equipment designed to reduce environmental impact and produced from sustainable materials will be prominent at the exhibition, and issues such as the use of recyclable materials, energy efficiency, waste reduction solutions, smart weaving machines and production monitoring systems will also be discussed.
