CNR KONFEK – International Garment Machinery Exhibition, which was held for the first time on August 3-6, was successfully held with the participation of leading machinery and solution manufacturers. Solutions from A to Z for the garment industry, from automatic cutting machines to cad systems and embroidery machines, met with new buyers at the exhibition held by CNR Holding at the Istanbul Expo Center. Over 1000 brands of 150 companies came together with a total of 28,810 sector buyers, 1,866 of which were international. Thousands of buyers from Europe, Africa, Middle and Far East countries and Turkic Republics had the opportunity to examine the latest solutions of the most important brands of European and Far East countries in the exhibition area of 60 thousand square meters.
Garment machinery manufacturers met at CNR KONFEK for new technology and investments
The shift of the supply centre from China to Türkiye in the garment industry during the pandemic period has led to an increase in machinery investment demands in the country. Turkish manufacturers, becoming the most important supplier of the world in this field, started to strengthen or renew their machinery in order to meet the incoming orders. CNR KONFEK 2022, which was organized to meet exactly these demands of garment and ready-to-wear manufacturers, has become an important meeting point for the sector in this sense.
Domestic and foreign manufacturers, focusing especially on R&D and innovation, came together with international purchasing groups at the exhibition, where industry professionals who want to implement new technologies and direct their investments participated in. Companies, particularly Çatma, Astaş, Glengo, Uğur, Tetaş, Malkan, Alba, Yuki and Keçoğlu took part in the exhibition with their innovative and cutting-edge technology solutions at CNR KONFEK 2022, which welcomed thousands of buyers from European, African, Middle and Far Eastern countries as well as Turkic Republics. The exhibition, where the most important brands of European and Far Eastern countries introduced the latest technology garment machinery and technologies, provided the garment machinery manufacturers with the opportunity to reach their global trade targets faster. In addition, the personal collection of Nafiz Albayrak, one of the important representatives of the garment machinery industry, ‘Historical Journey of Irons’ was presented to the visitors during the exhibition.
