The highly anticipated textile technologies fair ITMA ASIA + CITME will take place on June 12-16, 2021 at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai. At the fair where many important names from the textile market will be hosted, Savio will present its innovative products to Asian textile markets, particularly to China. Savio has a portfolio that maximizes the machine return on investment and it offers numerous machinery solutions to support the quality of the final yarn product: winding, winding for continuous shrinkage, bulking and heat setting; TFO twisting; Open-End rotor spinning.
‘Savio 4.0′ for data exchange in manufacturing technologies
One of the main points of the Savio booth is ‘Savio 4.0’ digital solutions for data exchange in manufacturing technologies. The new possibilities offered by the connection of the machines translates into the different levels of Savio Industrial IoT, with the possibility of progressive sophistication. Each of these corresponds to a different dose of Industry 4.0 applied to Savio textile winding machinery, from simple connectivity and machinery data downloading to remote machine setup and real-time interaction of the operator.
The biggest driving forces for Savio: automation and digital solutions
Automation and digital solutions have been the two major driving forces of Savio in recent years. The need for integrated automation in the spinning process is increasing due to the yarn quality and the productivity advantages offered by such a solution. Recognizing this demand, Savio turned to new bespoke solutions to increase the flexibility to/fro winder to customers.
Savio’s latest automated solution is the Multi-Link, which connects multiple ring spinning frames (RSF) to one Savio winder, becoming a tailor-made circuit to link up to four RSFs to one winding machine. This new solution optimizes space and reduces energy consumption and also lowers production costs. The automatic bobbin transport provides an ergonomic material flow by shortening servicing paths for the operators. While keeping the quality consistent even with long and multi-connected machines, the costs for production, space and energy are reduced.
Savio experts on the pitch with Augmented Reality
The Savio After-Sales service uses an innovative Augmented Reality tool to fast troubleshoot, improve processes and increase machine utilization time. Due to current travel restrictions, Savio offers remote assistance with an application powered by TeamViewer Pilot that allows interaction in augmented reality to ensure the machinery effectiveness. Thanks to this application, Savio experts from their Italy headquarters can provide real-time support to field technicians at the customer site via video sessions. In this way, problems can be resolved more quickly.
