Marzoli sets a new course: Textile Engineering. Marzoli, a Camozzi Group company leader in the supply of complete spinning lines, during ITMA Barcelona 2019 displayed substantial innovations in machinery and equipment for the optimization of the entire spinning process.
Prominent solutions included in the Marzoli booth were;
- The new Comber CMX, with a new combing drive and 10 combing heads to reach up to 115 kg/h, it increases productivity while decreasing costs to minimum. It brings 25% increase in productivity compared to the previous model.
- MDS2.4 Hyper Ring, the new ring spinning frame with 2.400 spindles for higher productivity and lower energy consumption.
- FT640 Flexo Roving, the new roving frame with 640 spindles that combines the advantages of a long machine; with the efficiency and flexibility of shorter machines.
- MSS, Marzoli patented drafting roller drive, fully integrated in the machine, able to guarantee the best slubbing performance.
- Marzoli Trash Analyzer, which, together with Marzoli software platforms, allows a constant analysis of the waste and a consequent optimization of the settings of blow room and carding machines. Waste analysis is possible also with TAOMApp, an application created by Marzoli in collaboration with Camozzi Digital. With TAOMApp the customer can estimate the trash level of a cotton bale from smartphone photos.
- MRM and YarNet are patented software platforms for implementing Marzoli’s Smart Spinning concept. MRM (Marzoli Remote Maintenance), which collects and analyses the data of Marzoli or third-party machines, allows remote control and management of the spinning mill. YarNet is the innovative software to manage the entire spinning process directly from the pc.
- Brain Box: the innovative Marzoli’s patented software for the improvement of plant’s performance.
Moreover, at the stand, by wearing VR goggles in the Virtual Reality corner, visitors could learn about all of Marzoli’s solutions for fibre preparation, spinning preparation and ring spinning. Throughout this experience dedicated videos previews reveal all of the potential and advantages offered by the individual Marzoli machines and solutions.
‘Textile Engineering’ takes its place in the logo
Textile Engineering, also incorporated in the new institutional logo of Marzoli, shows its ability to work and innovate in close relationship with customers, supporting them in all stages of the process, from initial preparation to plant construction, including line start-up, optimization, management and commissioning, regardless of whether it is a single machine or complete spinning mill.
With this approach, Marzoli want to become the global partner for the textile industry of the future, creating unique solutions exported worldwide, more and more synonymous of production efficiency, flexibility and quality.
Ilaria Scalvini from Marzoli Marketing Department, in her statements to Textilegence, said that; Marzoli, to be the global partner for the textile industry of the future, provides digitalized spinning solutions to its customers; with an accurate activity of textile engineering and the implementation of IoT studies. “At ITMA, we underline our new company philosophy. Textile engineering will be the main job of Marzoli. By adding this term to our logo, we demonstrated our commitment to the textile industry”.
During the exhibition, Marzoli presented also the innovative 24,000 spinning module which; compared to traditional spinning lines, enables customers to achieve significant reduction in TCO thanks to a 4% cost savings for conditioning, a 10% reduction in investments in the square footage of production sites and a 9% cost savings for internal logistics.
The entire facility is at your fingertips with Brain Box
Stating that adding digital solutions to textile technologies gives them strength; Ilaria Scalvini noted that Brain Box application provides a significant increase in performance in facilities. Scalvini said; “According to the data obtained from the tests, 5.5% increase in productivity, 8% increase in efficiency and 1.5% energy saving is achieved. Installation is fast and simple in just four steps; apply sensors to individual machines, connect sensors to Brain Box, download the app, and activate monitoring to detect any issues”.
Marzoli is satisfied with ITMA 2019’s results
Expressing that they were very pleased with the ITMA 2019; Ilaria Scalvini mentioned that they experienced a lot of visitor traffic from India, Pakistan, Spain, Egypt, US. She also said that they met all their most important customers; and we get in touch with some new potential customers. “We finalized several contracts with the major clients: the most important is the agreement with The Cotton & Textile Industries Holding Company of the Egyptian Government for the supply of Marzoli textile solutions to renewing the equipment in their spinning mills”.
Explaining that they also met with the textile manufacturers from Turkey, Scalvini; “Turkey is a market that as always showed a great interest in quality; and Marzoli has always been the perfect partner for this market. In the last months, due to some macroeconomics problems, such as currency, sales in Turkey have decreased; but we are confident, and we think that turkey will once again become our reference market for Europe”.
