French machinery manufacturers, one of the most important technology suppliers of the Turkish textile industry, will emphasize their commitment to innovation and their closeness as a partner to the Turkish market at the ITM 2018.
The French Textile Machinery Manufacturers have a total annual consolidated turnover of 1 billion Euros. They are the sixth textile machinery exporter worldwide. The Turkish textile industry is one of the top three markets of French textile machinery manufacturers. For this reason, the French machinery manufacturers are very sensitive to the demands of the Turkish market and act accordingly. French textile machinery manufacturers will exhibit the passion for ‘innovation’ in their genes at ITM 2018, the most important exhibition for the Turkish and the regional industry. The umbrella organization of French Textile Machinery Manufacturers’ Association UCMTF, will bring their members together with the local markets after a long period of 20 years in Turkey for the first time with a national pavilion.
UCMTF Secretary General Evelyne Cholet told that Turkey is a major market for them and ITM the most important regional exhibition. Cholet; “French textile machinery manufacturers are particularly strong in long fibre spinning (wool, acrylic, etc.), yarn twisting and control (including technical yarns), space-dyeing, heat setting for carpet yarns, carpet systems, dyeing and finishing, felts and belts for finishing processes, nonwovens, air conditioning of textile plants and recycling processes of textile materials. In these sectors they have established long term partnerships with their Turkish customers and therefore ITM will be another opportunity to meet at the highest level”.
We get along very well with Turkish customers
Evelyne Cholet, voicing that French machinery manufacturers share the same strategy as Turkish customers, summarized it as “to be a reliable, long-term solution partner for our customers”. Cholet noted that the French machinery manufacturers are mainly SMEs, mostly family businesses and leading or prominent brands in their fields. “This is why we understand each other very well with Turkish customers who are real entrepreneurs,” said Cholet and continued as follows;
“The stability of our teams (sales managers, technicians, agents and local representatives) allows our companies to go well beyond the purely technical and address the long-term objectives of our customers. As we are machinery and technology solution partners, our Turkish customers are very interested to work with us to implement innovative, “couture” solutions; they know that we deliver and install the machines on time, give an excellent after sale service and deliver spare parts very efficiently.”
2017 was a record year for Turkish market
Commenting about their position in the Turkish market, Evelyn Cholet expressed that in Turkey, after a short-lived slowdown in 2016, orders have picked up again and 2017 was a near record year. Saying that there are changes in the machine demands, Cholet stated that sales of machines to produce traditional textiles (apparel) have slowed but sales of machines to produce technical textiles, carpeting or to recycle textiles have soared. Cholet declared that they are quite optimistic about 2018, for most of their members the order backlogs are at record levels and new orders coming in at a very good pace.
Every company will be a separate attraction centre
Evelyne Cholet announced that NSC Fibre to Yarn, Laroche, Superba, Fil Control, Petit Spare Parts, Spoolex Group, Dollfus & Muller and AESA Air Engineering are among the French companies to participate in the exhibition. Cholet gave the following tips on solutions to be presented;
NSC Fibre to Yarn
The firm develops and proposes Tow to Top lines: stretch breaker, defelter and chain gill. As finisher the FMV41/42 vertical rubbing frame. NSC offers semi worsted lines and to modernize recycling lines for acrylic fibres or blended fibres; by introducing its well-known combing machine ERA. A logistics for spare parts have been established with BILGE/Automation. They will be at Hall 3 booth 315D.
LAROCHE
The firm will show a full range of products made from their latest technologies; including the new weighting hopper feeder, and the latest innovations in blending. The hottest topics are used clothes recycling processes and acoustic insulation panels with Laroche Airlay technology. Laroche has been a strong partner for many major Turkish companies; in the nonwoven and recycling industries for more than 30 years. They will be at Hall 3 booth 313B – Hall 9 booth 904B.
SUPERBA
The firm is the world leader in heat-setting and space-dyeing for carpet yarn; and a member of the Vandewiele family of companies. It is well established in Turkey with its agent Samoteks in Istanbul; a permanent team of technicians on the field, and BILGE its partner in Gaziantep; acting as the official distributor for spare-parts with a large inventory immediately available. With more than 150 TVP3 lines to heat-set carpet yarn and over 60 LV3 lines for Acrylic running in Turkey, Superba have established themselves as the benchmark in terms of quality for carpet yarn processing for all types of yarns (PET, PP, PA, PAN, Wool & blends). Recent developments are focused on the space-dyeing with exclusive dyeing effects such as the bi-color printing or the tone-on-tone effect. They will be at Hall 2 booth 212-A.
Fil Control
The firm with their 3 major fields; yarn cutters, yarn break sensors and quality control equipment; Fil Control offers its customers and partners solutions to control the yarn. This is a key point to insure a reliable manufacturing process and a protection of the textile machine. They will be at Hall 3 booth 316C.
PETIT Spare Parts
The firm has a consequent and permanent storage capacity of spare parts with more than 20.000 references multi brand for fine count textile machines; especially for ICBT and looms for Saurer-Diederichs. An acknowledged know-how with a wealth experience in the field of covering, texturizing, twisting. Petit Spare Parts is the specialist in the trade of accessories for textile machines. They will be at Hall 3 booth 316C.
Spoolex Group
Turkey, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, have largely contributed to Spoolex’s success story. Calemard is the converting equipment division of Spoolex Group. French machinery manufacturers; innovation is in our DNA…
Emphasizing that the French machinery manufacturers are entirely innovation and quality oriented, Cholet said that this process is not only for the R&D department, but for the whole company. Cholet said: “Innovation is in our DNA. Recall that Jacquard, the most famous textile machines inventor, is French. Today innovation is often derived from realistic partnerships with our customers. We are proud of our strategy to offer personalized solutions with affordable, reliable and environmentally friendly machines developed; within the scope of customer requirements, not just with our ready-to-sell machines”.
