Making 20 million dollars of investment to its facility in Aksaray and manufacturing total 17 million items; Eroğlu Giyim has raised 51 levels in ICI’s 500 list.
Eroğlu Giyim raised 51 levels compared to the previous year on ‘Turkey’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises’ list announced by Istanbul Chamber of Industry(ICI).Taking place on the 403rd rank in 2015, Eroğlu Giyim raised to the 352nd rank thanks to about 356 millions net sales.The company’s place on the ranking considering only private sector.
Eroğlu Giyim is manufacturing to world’s leading brands
Reminding that Eroğlu Giyim’s foundations were laid in a small garment workshop with 6 machines, 34 years ago, Eroğlu Holding Board Chairman Nurettin Eroğlu said that they feel proud of being among the biggest 500 industrial corporations of Turkey and creating added value to country’s economy. Eroğlu continued thusly; “Manufacturing to world’s leading brands, Eroğlu Giyim’s annual production has reached to 17 million. As Eroğlu, we are the only group taking part on every ring of textile chain from cotton yarn picked up in the field, yarn to denim fabric, to garment from there and to merchandizing where the product is handed to end customer. ”
Reminding that as of today, Eroğlu Giyim is one of the biggest exporter firm’s of our country in textile sector; Eroğlu said; “With our facilities in Çorlu, Aksaray and Egypt; we serve many more global brands in domestic and abroad market other than our own brands Colin’s and Loft. ” Adding they made 20 million dollars of investment on Eroğlu Giyim’s Aksaray facility to his words, Nurettin Eroğlu expressed these; “We made 20.000 m2 addition to existing garment manufacturing department in Aksaray. Also, we will form 50.000 m2 fabric manufacturing facility integrated to Aksaray facility, as well. ”
Eroğlu Holding operates in textile segment with over 600 shops and 5 manufacturing facilities including Turkey in domestic and abroad market. Holding’s consolidated turnover recorded as 1 billion and 300 million dollars last year, the share of textile companies was 80%. Eroğlu Holding whose turnover’s 60% belongs to the companies in abroad, now owns a striking share in world’s textile market.
